Using a powerful true story, this tract demonstrates the sovereignty of God in the process of salvation. The personal nature of this tract is best used with those who are without hope and seeking answers.
The back reads as follows:
In 2015, a teenage boy was jumping off a bridge into a body of water with his friends. After one particular jump, the fun came to a halt when he failed to resurface. It took a rescue team more than 40 minutes of desperate seeking to find the unconscious boy at the bottom of the murky waters. When they pulled him to the surface, he had no pulse. However, because of the relentless pursuit by the rescuers and local doctors, the boy was brought back to life. Was there anything that the boy did that contributed to his revival? Of course not. Similarly, the Bible teaches that we all have experienced a spiritual death and cannot be resuscitated by our own actions. “As for you, you were dead in your trespasses and sins.” Unless someone outside of yourself comes to save you, the Bible warns that you will one day be judged in righteousness. This means that if you’ve ever lied, stolen or used God's name as a curse word, you will be found guilty and sentenced to God's eternal prison called Hell where there’s no chance of parole. But because God is also rich in mercy, He has provided the way for you to be forgiven and brought back to life through Jesus Christ. "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." On the cross, Jesus took on the wrath of God for your sins. He bled and died, then rose again, and is ready to give you His perfect record of obedience. Now, through faith alone, you may be pardoned before God. When you repent (confess and turn away from your sinful desires) and transfer your trust from yourself to trusting in Christ alone for salvation, God will forgive you immediately and His Spirit will give you new life with new desires. In the end, you can’t revive yourself, so cry out today for His sovereign grace...
